The booming
resort town of Pattaya is situated about 150 km from Bangkok in
the province of Chonburi on the east cost of the Gulf of Siam and
can be easily reached by the newly constructed motorway within 2
hours. First, Pattaya was a "Rest and Recreation" centre for the US Army during the Vietnam War. With in this, the Americans brought the sex tourism to Pattaya which has contributed up to now its bad reputation all over the world.
